1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Softstep Atelier website, purchasing any course, or enrolling in workshops, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to all terms, please do not access the platform.
2. Limited License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access purchased macramé courses and digital materials solely for your own educational use. You may not share login credentials, redistribute content, record lessons, or use materials for commercial instruction without written consent.
3. Acceptable Use
- Do not attempt to bypass security, copy protected video content, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform.
- Do not upload unlawful, infringing, hateful, or offensive material through comments or shared work.
- Treat fellow students and instructors with respect; all community spaces are moderated.
4. Payments and Refunds
All prices are displayed in USD and subject to change. Refund requests must be submitted within seven days of purchase and prior to completing more than 20% of any course. See the FAQ for full refund policy details.
5. Intellectual Property
All video lessons, knot patterns, photography, and branding are the exclusive property of Softstep Atelier or its licensors. You receive only the limited rights expressly stated above; no additional rights are granted.
6. Warranty Disclaimer
All services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantees regarding specific creative results, artistic improvement, or commercial outcomes from your participation.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Softstep Atelier shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our maximum liability will not exceed the total amount paid by you in the twelve months preceding any claim.
8. Miscellaneous
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance. Should any provision be found unenforceable, the remaining terms remain fully effective. These Terms are governed by the laws of California, USA.
